We specialize in delivery of furniture to the retail customer's home or office.

What this means is that if you, the retail customer, goes to shop at any retail store whether it is BigLots, Target, Billy's Furniture or even Wal-Mart, we can come down to the store, pick it up, deliver it, and assemble it for you. This leaves you more time to spend with your family, friends, or personal projects.

As a retailer, I was asked by nearly 30% of my customer base if we could deliver and/or assemble their purchase. I was frustrated because I was forced to tell my customer that they needed to make their own arrangements or contract a U-Haul. Now that we do the delivery and assemblies for the retail customer, retailers can use American Delivery and Assembly as a sales tool to help sell their furniture and RTA items because you have, at your fingertips, a way to satisfy your customer's needs.

How We are Unique

We specialize in handling not just furniture, but RTA furniture. This is the kind that comes in a flat pack box and can be anything from a night stand to an entertainment center. RTA stands for Ready to Assemble and it is a growing fad in the furniture industry. Many retailers are selling it and most folks just lug it home and put it together themselves. Much of the time, though, this material ends up in a garage or closet someplace and does not get put together at all. This is where we come in. There are other companies that will deliver and assemble furniture, but nobody in the industry specializes in it. In fact, half of the moving companies out there will not move built RTA furniture or ask an extra fee to do it. American Delivery and Assembly, LLC people are specially trained to assemble and move RTA furniture around. And we don't charge any extra just because it is RTA.

See more about the RTA industry in the Assemblog. It is our weblog and it will tell you more about our business, the furniture industry, the RTA industry, and much more.

Public Calendar

I have found that Google offers a slew of services that can be integrated with my own webpages, so I think I'll be using a few of them. This includes a calendar that the public can use to see what is going on with us. I also plan to integrate this calendar into the company store so that customers or employees can schedule services on it and everyone will be on the same page. The idea is that employees can check it to route their stops for the day, customers can use it to schedule services and check on progress, and we can use it to coordinate all of the above and our corporate needs as well. For now, though, just click on the button above to check the calendar out.

Site Progress

I am back at it again, trying really hard to provide a site that my customers can use to order services from home or the store from their offices without having to pick up the phone. I have started work with DotNetNuke again running in the background to provide a corporate intranet as well as connect all the user pages. I'll leave it up to you to tell me if it all works for you.
